Pride Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a clinical role.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Contract Duration: 6 months
Compensation: $50 to $54 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care to clinic participants as assigned, including managing clinic overflow, monitoring vital signs, conducting point-of-care testing, administering medications, and providing wound care along with other clinical needs in line with nursing practice standards.
- Execute and document prescribed procedures and care within the clinic, including medication management and administration as directed by the primary care provider.
- Stay vigilant to relevant feedback from team members, participants, and caregivers, promptly informing the RN Case Manager or other clinic personnel of any changes in participants' health status.
- Assist clinic and home health staff to facilitate seamless transitions of care across various settings such as hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home environments.
- Dispense prescribed medications to participants during their visit and provide education regarding medication usage.
Qualifications Required:
- Current RN license
- At least one year of nursing experience in a clinical environment, particularly with elderly or frail populations
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is advantageous
