Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our Rhinelander Clinic team at Aspirus Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our medical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of healthcare services to patients, including maintenance of clinical records and documentation.
  • Perform a wide range of patient care activities and accommodative services for medical staff.
  • Make decisions consistent with clinic policies and maintain the confidentiality of patient information.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of patient care standards and practices, typically acquired through graduation from an accredited MA program or three years of equivalent experience in a medical background.
  • Previous healthcare experience is beneficial.
  • Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration is required, or must be obtained within six months of hire.
  • Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations, and procedures to administer patient care.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
  • Skill in identifying problems and recommending solutions.
  • Skill in preparing and maintaining records and responding to correspondence.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
  • Ability to maintain quality control standards.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.
  • Possesses good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain teamwork effectively with co-workers.
