Job Title: Dietitian

At Fairmount Behavioral Health System, we are seeking a part-time Dietitian to join our team. As a Registered Dietitian, you will be responsible for assessing and supervising the nutritional needs of our patients, providing age-and developmentally-appropriate diet planning, education, and ensuring quality nutritional care is provided to all patients in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Fairmount Behavioral Health System and the American Dietetics Association.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and supervise the nutritional needs of patients
  • Provide age-and developmentally-appropriate diet planning and education
  • Ensure quality nutritional care is provided to all patients
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Master's Degree preferred
  • One year of clinical dietitian experience in a healthcare environment, prior work with a mental health population strongly desired
  • Maintain current registration with the American Dietician Association as a Registered Dietitian, licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist in Pennsylvania
  • Knowledge of age-appropriate nutritional assessments and screenings, nutritional counseling and education, dietary planning, and food and drug interactions
