Clinical Environment

The Inpatient Oncology unit is a 28-bed adult acute care facility that also includes a 15-bed intermediate care Stem Cell Transplant Unit (SCTU). This role offers an excellent opportunity for nurses to gain comprehensive training in both levels of care, enhancing their expertise in oncology patient management.

Nurse to Patient Ratio

The nurse to patient ratio is 1:4 in the Inpatient Oncology unit and 1:3 in the SCTU, reflecting the higher level of care required.

Requirements
  • ONS certification required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
  • Epic experience is necessary
  • Must adhere to float policies
  • VA license pending submissions accepted
