About the Position

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Program Director Assistant to join our summer camp team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the program director in planning and implementing engaging programs that promote youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
  • Supervise a group of camp counselors and ensure they provide a high-quality experience for our campers.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and guardians through effective communication and regular updates.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers and staff members at all times.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of experience working in a day camp setting, preferably with a focus on youth development and programming.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications, as well as Child Abuse Prevention training.
