Job Summary

The Branch Leader I or II is responsible for promoting a positive public image in the community and instilling the Purpose, Mission, and Values of Truist in the team. This role drives business development, revenue growth, and team performance through various strategies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth and team performance.
  2. Lead and manage a team of financial services professionals to achieve business objectives.
  3. Collaborate with Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) and Operations partners to ensure compliance with bank procedures and internal controls.
  4. Proactively engage with clients and prospects through effective outreach and relationship-building strategies.
  5. Make human capital decisions, including interviewing, selection, hiring, workforce scheduling, development planning, and performance reviews.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training or experience.
  2. Two years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience and/or performance.
  3. One year of previous Branch Leadership or Management Experience.
  4. Strong interpersonal, sales relationship, and prioritization skills.
  5. Strong written and verbal skills.
  6. Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment in this role.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Banking.
  2. Graduate of Internal Leadership Development Programs.
