Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Chemist for Toxicology Analysis to join our team in Burlington, NC. This position offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Review and Certification: The successful candidate will review and certify LC/MS data from instruments utilizing Analyst and Ascent software, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of results.">
  • Clinical Testing: Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses on organic and inorganic samples to determine their chemical properties, participating in the development of new analytical procedures as needed.">
  • Instrumentation: Troubleshoot and repair LC/MS systems, performing minor maintenance and calibration tasks to ensure optimal performance.">
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals, providing guidance and support to technical staff as required.">
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in toxicology analysis, participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.">

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or a related science.">
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of clinical laboratory testing experience, preferably in toxicology analysis.">
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of chromatographic data review, proficiency in computer applications, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.">
  • Certifications: Ability to obtain relevant certifications and licenses, as required by law or regulatory bodies.">
