Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to create and enhance internal tools that facilitate the operations of our service teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing internal applications using Go to streamline service team workflows.
  • Collaborating across various functions with development, operations, and product teams to align on priorities and promote effective utilization of development resources.
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products throughout the entire development lifecycle.
  • Contributing to the creation of configuration management scripts and deployment tools, including Chef and Jenkins.
  • Utilizing analytics platforms such as Splunk and Grafana, along with Ruby libraries, to enhance operational insights.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in Go programming.
  • Experience in leading feature development from design through implementation and support.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Strong understanding of Linux at the system level.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on building positive relationships.
  • Experience with deployment automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet, with a preference for Chef.
  • Knowledge of large-scale distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins, Docker, AWS, Python, Gradle, Groovy, Artifactory, GCP, and/or Ansible.
  • Experience with full software engineering lifecycle practices, including coding standards, testing, code reviews, and source control management.
  • Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.

Compensation: The expected pay range for this position is $67.24/hour - $89.66/hour.
