Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Perdue Foods. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation of production equipment and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience and possess excellent reading, writing, and analytical skills. You will also be required to use and operate hand tools and industrial shop equipment.

In this role, you will:

  • Read and interpret manufacturers' equipment manuals, preventative task sheets, and safety policies.
  • Perform equipment adjustments, repairs, and emergency breakdowns in a timely manner.
  • Monitor equipment performance and inform supervisors of potential problems.
  • Provide training and direction to lower-level mechanics and techs.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with active on-the-floor activities. The position requires an associate to have the ability to move throughout the complex and all facilities.

Compensation: $10,000 hiring bonus payable over 12 months, plus competitive salary range $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
