Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Sanbell (formerly Bellecci & Associates, Inc.). As a Public Works Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and engineering utilities, highways, public works, infrastructure, and land development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D for highway and street geometric, traffic handling, site logistics, signing and striping, pavement delineation, roadway grading, site grading and earthwork, roads, sanitary and storm drainage, storm water data reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with agencies, utility companies, and clients.
  • Prepare meeting notes.
  • Perform site visits.
  • Assign tasks to and direct junior engineers, engineer technicians, and administrative staff as needed.
  • Plan and coordinate various aspects of the engineering work.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of civil engineering design experience.
  • BS in Civil Engineering degree from an accredited university.
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D skills.
  • Experience with preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Experience with utility agency coordination.
  • Familiarity with local standards.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License (highly preferred).
  • MSCE or similar (preferred).

Sanbell is a multi-disciplinary engineering, community planning, and design firm serving clients throughout the Western United States. We are a hybrid company, with a 3-day in-office and 2-day remote schedule.
