Overview
A reputable General Contractor is seeking a dedicated Superintendent to enhance their team. This role involves overseeing significant construction projects across various sectors, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage large-scale construction projects, ensuring compliance with schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Foster strong working relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants.
- Lead site teams, providing direction to uphold safety, productivity, and performance standards.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Thoroughly review and understand contract documents, drawings, specifications, and any amendments.
- Create and maintain a three-week look-ahead schedule, ensuring all parties adhere to it.
- Drive project momentum, quality, and safety measures.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor.
- Experience managing large-scale commercial and multifamily projects valued between $5M and $75M.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, principles, and techniques.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with robust problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in construction management software.
