The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations.
Responsibilities- Provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies.
- Supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Participates in performance improvement activities to enhance the quality of patient care.
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develops and implements individualized patient care plans.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey.
- Current CPR, ACLS, PALS required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Pre-Op/PACU or Critical Care.
- Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
