Job Title: CT Technologist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT examinations and assisting physicians with invasive CT procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic CT examinations and prepare examinations for interpretation
  • Assist physicians with invasive CT procedures and maintain radiation safety
  • Operate all CT and related equipment, as well as facility-based computer systems
  • Administer oral and intravenous contrast media under the direction of a physician or per protocol
  • Transport, move, and position patients in a safe and appropriate fashion
  • Assist physicians with special procedures involving the use of CT
  • Participate in quality assurance/quality control activities as related to CT

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-approved school
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in radiography and CT
  • Maintains licensure requirements with the state of Ohio
  • Maintains annual CPR certification/When Seconds Count certification
  • Two years minimum experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred

Work Environment: This is a sedentary position that involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods. The position requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Shifts and Schedule: The successful candidate will work nights, 4-10's (7:30PM to 6AM), every other weekend.

State License Details: Must be currently active.

Minimum Years of Experience: Less than 1 year.

Minimum Guaranteed Hours: 36.

Specialty Type: Diagnostic Imaging.

Sub Specialty: CT Technologist.

General Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PAL, SNRP.

Bilingual: No.

EMR Used: Cerner.

Holiday Coverage Required: Yes.
