Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to lead our engineering team in delivering cutting-edge systems solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for architecting and developing complex systems, leading cross-functional teams, and driving innovation in defense aviation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and develop systems solutions from user requirements to system engineering lifecycle
  • Lead cross-functional teams in design, development, and review of systems engineering design artifacts
  • Develop systems in a modeling environment and utilize requirements management tools
  • Define digital engineering ecosystems, including infrastructure, tool selection, process development, and utilization
  • Apply Unified Modeling Language (UML) or Systems Modeling Language (SysML) to develop systems models
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on architecting and developing complex systems
  • 4+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in design, development, and review of systems engineering design artifacts
  • 2+ years of experience developing systems in a modeling environment and utilizing requirements management tools
  • Experience with digital engineering ecosystems, including infrastructure, tool selection, process development, and utilization
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with conceptualizing military problems, decomposing high-level missions, and developing detailed designs in a systems model
  • Experience with developing safety-critical applications based on standards, including ARP-4754, ARP-4761, DO-178, DO-254, and MIL-STD-882
  • Experience with leading a team for development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and integration and test plans and schedules
