We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse II to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. As a Nurse II, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patient health status, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing staff, ensuring that patient care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse II in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of nursing standards, policies, and procedures, with the ability to apply them in a practical setting.
