Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser systems, developing knowledge in laser technology, and supporting the implementation of this technology at RPM Innovations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain knowledge in the operation of laser systems, including safety protocols and procedures.
  • Understand and apply laser safety requirements for safe operation of laser systems and associated support functions.
  • Safely handle parts and materials using industrial equipment, including trucks, hoists, and overhead cranes.
  • Apply knowledge of laser technology to support the ongoing implementation of this technology at RPM Innovations.
  • Support the design and development of laser system hardware, software, and fixturing requirements.
  • Assist in the development of written operating and maintenance procedures for laser systems.
  • Perform pre-, in-process, and post-inspections of customer parts/components and maintain associated documentation.
  • Develop knowledge to support the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System and associated responsibilities.
  • Support the facilitation and maintenance of company documentation and record keeping.
  • Prepare and mount metallurgical samples as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; on-the-job training provided to acceptable candidates.
  • Organization and solid decision-making skills valuable.
  • Proactive and team-oriented individual preferred.
