Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled MuleSoft Integration Specialist to join our team at NikSoft Systems Corp. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in consulting, analysis, design, and initial development of intricate systems utilizing the MuleSoft Platform. This role involves providing oversight for the modernization and maintenance of high-availability enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize expertise in architecting, configuring, building, and deploying MuleSoft as a shared service across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD and government security standards to maintain the integrity and availability of deployed solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior systems and software engineers to execute solution designs within a complex global enterprise environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in MuleSoft Platform API development and integration.
  • At least seven (7) years of overall experience in supporting enterprise-class applications in a significant engineering or development capacity.
  • Proven experience in designing secure and high-performance web services.
  • Familiarity with REST, SOAP web services, and RAML within the MuleSoft Platform.
  • Experience with MuleSoft Connectors, both standard and custom.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting the MuleSoft Platform, including deployment and tuning using XML, XSLT, JMS, and JSON.
  • Experience in developing ETL flows on the MuleSoft Platform.
  • Security+ Certification is preferred.

Typical Duties:

  • Develop APIs using the MuleSoft Platform in a secure multi-tenant environment.
  • Support and maintain highly available APIs.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and performance tuning of MuleSoft components.
  • Design and implement infrastructure and integration roadmaps.
  • Configure APIs, proxy endpoints, API portals, and analytics using MuleSoft API Manager.
  • Provide technical support for applications and projects utilizing the MuleSoft Platform.
  • Offer guidance and technical expertise for research initiatives related to the MuleSoft Platform.

Soft Skills:

  • Experience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, demonstrating ownership of solutions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Skill in articulating design and configuration decisions to achieve consensus.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related technical field.
  • MuleSoft API Integration Architect certification is mandatory.
