About the Van Driver Position

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Van Driver to join our team at First Student. As a Van Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe transportation of students and passengers to and from their destinations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students and parents, assisting with boarding and exiting the bus as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and transportation staff to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • At least 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license for at least 3 years
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and physical
