Nonprofit Management Adjunct Faculty Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach in our Continuing Education program, specifically in the area of Nonprofit Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, planning, preparing, presenting, and evaluating classroom instruction and related activities. This position requires a strong background in nonprofit management, with experience in teaching and/or training at the college or secondary level. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Business, Business Administration, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or a related discipline.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and teach curriculum content in conjunction with course outcomes.
Use applicable technology and andragogical principles to teach course content via an appropriate delivery format (may include face-to-face, hybrid, online, and remote instruction).
Complete mandated institutional trainings and professional development as required.
Facilitate appropriate instructional activities that promote student engagement and learning.
Evaluate student performance using assessment tools as directed by the department; inform students in a timely manner of their progress.

Requirements:
Master's degree in Business, Business Administration, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or a related discipline.
At least one-year teaching and/or training experience at the college or secondary level in one or more fields related to nonprofit management, or grant management.
At least five years of nonprofit management experience (federal, county, state, and private sectors).
Strong leadership skills to guide students in understanding how to lead and/or manage nonprofit organizations effectively.
Experience in strategic planning, fundraising, and volunteer management.
Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and financial reporting for nonprofits.
Expertise in fundraising strategies, donor relations, and development planning.
Ability to build partnerships with nonprofit organizations.
Proficiency using databases and online resources for grant research.
Knowledge of the nonprofit sector and familiarity with nonprofit funding landscapes and financial management.
Experience in attracting sponsorships and volunteers for nonprofit organizations.

Working Conditions:
Must have the use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle, or feel objects and controls.
Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office-related equipment, such as, but not limited to, a personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. Some climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions may be required. Occasionally the ability to physically move and lift materials 5-25 pounds may be required.
