Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Overview
Actalent is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Westport, Connecticut. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing site work, infrastructure, storm drainage and treatment, roadway design, erosion control, and onsite sewage disposal systems.
Responsibilities
* Design and develop site plans and infrastructure projects
* Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
* Collaborate with clients and project teams to understand project requirements and deliverables
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
* 4+ years of work experience in land development or site civil
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD/Hydoflow, and Micro Station
* Experience with site design projects, drainage management designs, septic design, site grading, and road design and storm sewer design
* Strong communication and project management skills
Work Environment
* Full-time position in office
