We are currently seeking a Seasonal Customer Assistance Representative Sr (CAR Sr) to join our team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients, primarily through face-to-face interactions, while supporting branch operations and rental requirements.

The CAR Sr will undergo comprehensive training and gain practical experience to provide administrative assistance, serve customers effectively, and act as a rental backup in a significant branch or airport location.

Compensation: The starting pay for this role is $16.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for candidates who can fulfill the following duties:

  • Handle incoming inquiries, including reservations, rate quotes, and general questions, while providing resolutions for customers and partners.
  • Manage outgoing calls for follow-ups and other assigned tasks.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by assessing rental needs both in person and over the phone.
  • Welcome customers warmly and efficiently.
  • Provide directions and general assistance as needed.
  • Evaluate the condition of vehicles upon return.
  • Process vehicle returns and check-ins, including exit kiosk transactions.
  • Market the company effectively while ensuring safe and courteous transportation of customers.
  • Communicate rental terms, vehicle features, and additional services clearly.
  • May sell optional protection products, upgrades, and other equipment.
  • Notify management of any vehicle issues or maintenance needs.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, both interior and exterior.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including billing support, accounts receivables, and report generation.
  • Execute other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • At least 1 year of prior experience in customer service or administrative support.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
  • No drug or alcohol-related convictions on the driving record in the past 5 years.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
  • Seasonal employees may work for a defined period and must take a break in service before reapplying.
