Food Service Manager

As a Food Unit Lead with Compass Group, North America, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the activities of other food-service employees, providing exceptional customer service and creating an enjoyable dining experience for customers, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide one-on-one attention to detail, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service and have a positive experience.
- Food and Beverage Service: Oversee and participate in the preparation and service of food and beverage items, adhering to company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety, and portion control.
- Menu Planning: Assist in planning menus that meet the needs and preferences of our customers.
- Meal Service: Ensure timely and efficient meal service, supervising the serving of meals and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Employee Training and Development: Train employees, assign and coordinate work to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service.
- Sanitation and Safety: Direct and participate in the overall sanitation and safety of the facility and employees, adhering to company standards and government regulations.
- Inventory and Supplies: Order food and other necessary supplies from approved sources or purveyors, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and supplies are readily available.
