Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - OBGYN Generalist

Albany Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our OBGYN Generalist team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of our department.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments, complete physical examinations, and collect clinical data to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, including ordering diagnostic tests, consultations, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordination.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in OBGYN Generalist.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Physical Demands:
  • Standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Lifting and carrying patients or equipment as needed.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and unpredictable environment.
