Job Summary

At Deborah Heart and Lung Center, we are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Tech to join our team in the EPS Lab. As a key member of our diagnostic team, you will be responsible for preparing the lab and patient for EPS/Pacing procedures, gathering and compiling information during the procedure, and assisting the nurse and physician as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the EPS Lab and patient for EPS/Pacing procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
  • Gather and compile information during the procedure, utilizing computer-generated data to inform decision-making.
  • Assist the nurse and physician in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Monitor and oversee the proper use of radiation, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.


Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in Radiology or a Procedural area, with a strong background in EPS or Cath Lab procedures.
  • Graduation from an accredited 2-year Radiological or Cardiovascular Program, or RCIS/RCES certification.
  • Valid N.J. Radiology Technologist License, ARRT (CV) certification, and BLS certification.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of prior EPS or Cath Lab experience, with a strong understanding of EKG interpretation and scrub procedures.
  • ACLS certification and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.


Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, working a 64-hour pay period with no weekends.
