We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our team at Mountain View Hospital. As a Psychiatric RN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct physical and psychosocial care to patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide holistic, individualized care appropriate to the age of the patient.
- Act as an advocate for patient safety and oversee compliance with core measures for applicable patients.
- Participate in development and implementation of plan of care.
- Communicate the elements of the nursing process to improve patient outcomes, provide quality intervention, and promote collaboration within the health team.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse.
- Associate Degree.
- One year of chemical dependency/psychiatric experience or a strong desire to learn skills associated with this field.
