We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Sonographer to join our team at Christus West, a state-of-the-art facility. As a valued member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge medical ultrasound equipment and contribute to providing exceptional patient care.
The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in diagnostic ultrasound imaging and be able to perform a variety of high-quality procedures under minimal supervision. Key responsibilities will include:
- Applying medical ultrasound to patients in accordance with doctor's orders
- Operating and maintaining medical ultrasound equipment
- Documenting procedural information in patient records
- Collaborating with radiologists to perform invasive biopsy procedures
To be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree in Ultrasound Technology or a related field and hold certifications from ARDMS or ARRT/Sonography. Previous experience in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, and Breast Ultrasound is preferred. Additionally, you should be familiar with the CORE values of Christus Health and be committed to delivering excellent patient care.
We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. The work schedule will be TBD, and the job type is Per Diem As Needed. We are an equal employment opportunity employer and welcome applications from qualified candidates.
