Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our team at Florida Medical Clinic. As a primary care provider, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and provide accurate diagnoses
  • Obtain and record health histories, perform physical and developmental assessments, and order diagnostic tests and labs as needed
  • Diagnose and treat health conditions, manage patient care, and provide health teaching and counseling
  • Initiate referrals as appropriate and consult with supervising physicians
  • Complete all documentation timely, efficiently, and in its entirety, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Perform daily responsibilities, including accurately completing patient notes, forwarding documentation to supervising providers, and addressing patient tasks
  • Assist supervising providers with completion of tasks, paperwork, and forms as directed
  • Return patient calls as needed and document ALF/SNF visits and services timely and accurately
  • Submit ALF/SNF charges timely and correctly, coordinating with physicians as necessary
  • Complete end-of-day processes, verify messages, and ensure tasks, labs, and diagnostics have been reviewed and addressed
Additional Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to team members, patients, and the public
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area
  • Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
  • Attend all meetings required by physicians or directors/associate directors
  • Participate in monthly CTT meetings and consult with supervising providers as needed for client care
Requirements
  • Florida Licensed APRN or PA
  • Minimum of 1 year experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Ability to plan ahead, organize, and manage multiple priorities
