Phlebotomist - Inpatient

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Ascension Via Christi hospital in Manhattan, Kansas. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the accuracy of laboratory results.

• Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
• Process and prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Enter patient information and specimen data into our laboratory information system
• Provide superior customer service to patients and their families
• Work collaboratively with our laboratory team to ensure efficient and accurate testing

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred
• 6 months or more previous phlebotomy experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
