Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of computer science is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 10 years of extensive experience in developing and testing RPG code.
  • Proficiency in RPG (Report Program Generator), a high-level programming language primarily utilized for business applications on IBM's midrange systems, including the IBM i platform.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with .NET is advantageous.

  • Proficient in crafting detailed work plans for the design, construction, and implementation phases of application development projects.
  • Conduct thorough unit, system, and user testing protocols.
  • Manage application troubleshooting and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Analyze and debug daily production challenges; provide necessary support to other users.
  • Willingness to work outside regular hours to install software and address issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
