About the Role
As a vital member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. Your expertise will contribute to the health and recovery of patients experiencing critical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Manage and assess patients with a variety of medical conditions, including cardiac, trauma, and psychiatric cases.
- Utilize advanced clinical skills to ensure effective treatment and recovery.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records through computer charting.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred or in progress.
- Specialty certification is advantageous.
- Experience in an emergency room setting is preferred, with a minimum of one year as a primary clinical provider.
- New graduate RNs with relevant experience in emergency situations will also be considered.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment is essential.
- IV skills for all age groups are required.
- Knowledge of age-specific principles of growth and development is necessary.
