Opportunity Overview
Virginia Commonwealth University seeks a highly skilled General / Comprehensive Otolaryngologist to join its robust academic practice. The selected candidate will contribute to the growth of state-of-the-art patient care, academic achievement, and resident training in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in clinical care, teaching, and research, with a commitment to fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment.

Job Summary
This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per year, commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent patient care and treatment within the discipline, growing their individual clinical practice, and participating in multi-disciplinary clinical endeavors. They will also teach residents, medical students, and other students, provide CME lectures, and serve on departmental committees as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and treatment within the discipline (90% clinical effort)
- Grow individual clinical practice and referral base
- Participate in multi-disciplinary clinical endeavors
- Teach residents, medical students, and other students (10% teaching effort)
- Provide CME lectures for professionals
- Serve on departmental committees as needed

Qualifications
- Board certified/eligible in otolaryngology
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Virginia upon hire
- Commitment to fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment
