Lifeguard Coordinator

Broward County, FL is seeking a highly skilled Aquatic Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of our aquatic facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our patrons, while also providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of lifeguards and other aquatic staff
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
• Develop and implement aquatic programs and events
• Manage facility maintenance and repairs
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to patron inquiries

Requirements:

• 1 year experience as a certified lifeguard and in the implementation of aquatics activities
• 6 months lead work/supervisory experience
• Certification in life saving techniques, water safety instruction, standard first aid and CPR
• Jeff Ellis & Associates certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Parks and Recreation or closely related field
• Jeff Ellis Lifeguard Instructor License
• AFO (Aquatic Facility Operator) Certification
• CPRP and/or CPRE
• ServSafe Food Managers Certificate
