About the Job

We are currently in a growth phase with two vacant trucks. Despite the challenging market conditions, we offer a fixed salary to mitigate the risk. As a family business since 1927, our drivers can attest to our reputation. We may require availability for potential routes to major cities, including NYC, Boston, and Chicago. Possession of additional endorsements or certifications would be advantageous for potential opportunities.

Job Summary
  • Company Driver (W2, Solo)
  • Handling Dry Van and Refrigerated cargoes
  • Long-distance driving (OTR)
  • Average weekly pay ranging from $1,500 to $1,750
  • Guaranteed minimum weekly pay of $1,500
  • Driving an average of 2,000-3,000 miles per week
  • $1,500 sign-on bonus
  • Dedicated Line Haul responsibilities
  • 4% Driver Load/Unload
  • No shared seating for drivers
Home Time
  • Expected to be away for 5-21 days
  • Flexibility to extend stay if desired
  • 2 days of home time for every 8 days worked
  • Minimally 2 weekends at home per month

Core Responsibilities
  • Conducting vehicle, equipment, and cargo inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and security
  • Managing customer documentation and financial transactions such as invoices and reports
  • Keeping accurate driver logs in adherence to DOT regulations
  • Regular interaction with customers to maintain positive relationships
  • Being consistently available to meet customer schedules
  • Upholding a clean, hygienic, and secure work environment
Orientation Details
  • Providing paid orientation
  • Individual accommodation arrangements
  • Private room accommodation for drivers
  • Includes lunch and breakfast during orientation
  • Travel expenses not covered
Hiring Requirements
  • Must hold a Class A license without specific restrictions
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Tractor Trailers
