Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled General Surgeon to join our dynamic medical team at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our diverse patient community.
Job Details
- Call Schedule: Our current call schedule is 1:3 or 10 days a month, with the option to take own practice call. Trauma call is 1:4.
- Operating Room (OR) Days: You will work two OR days per week, with providers working opposite each other to ensure staggered schedules.
- Patient Volume: Your daily patient volume will be dependent on your individual productivity, with no set guidelines outside of RVU measurement.
- Support Staff: Each surgeon has one Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to support their clinical needs.
Qualifications
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: You will need to obtain a WV state medical license and DEA registration upon hire.
- Certification: BE/BC in General Surgery and completion of an ACGME-accredited residency.
