Physician PRN Opportunity

Concentra is seeking a skilled Physician to join our team as a PRN (as-needed) medical professional. As a Physician at Concentra, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and contributing to the company's mission to improve the health of America's workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform medical assessments of patients
- Establish and monitor medically appropriate levels of care
- Maintain clinical core competency
- Collaborate with the Center Medical Director to ensure operations align with medical policy and professional standards
- Participate in policy development, implementation, and revision
- Assist with in-service and continuing education programs
- Recommend growth and development opportunities for new and existing services
- Meet with Concentra's Medical Director to discuss quality of patient care and review policies
- Submit reports on Center activities as requested
- Assist with scheduling and providing medical coverage
- Provide budgetary input to ensure medical responsibilities can be met
- Promote and support projects to develop or improve occupational medicine services
- Participate in quality assurance processes
- Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting bodies
- Develop and present education programs for staff
- Represent Concentra at internal and external meetings
- Meet with employers to discuss health and safety needs and conduct workplace assessments
- Participate in the 'call' program to facilitate after-hours and weekend case care
- Provide guidance to other medical staff in the absence of the Center Medical Director
- Provide excellent customer service and incorporate Orange Book values
- Exceed customer and patient expectations as measured by NPER/NPS/TATs
- Ensure accuracy and completeness in documentation and tasks
- Provide a warm and compassionate patient experience
- Manage time, prioritize, and multitask in a busy environment
- Adapt to changing business needs and work additional hours/shifts when necessary
- Deliver quality care in a busy clinical environment
- Take action to assist in other areas and ensure an excellent patient experience
- Seek opportunities for additional clinical training and self-development
- Effectively communicate with patients, clients, supervisors, and peers
- Monitor self and others and take corrective action
- Hold self and others accountable and assist others to achieve results
Requirements:
- Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university
- Board certification by ABPM, ABFM, or other medical board in the state of employment
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
- Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction
