Senior Architectural Specialist

The Project Architect plays a key role in achieving this goal, working closely with the Project Manager and Project Designer to ensure project financial performance and effective team communication. This position is responsible for the issuance and content of deliverables, technical content of HOK documents, and coordination of disciplines including consultants and staff producing documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Ensure the overall design intent of the project established by the Project Designer is incorporated into detailed documentation.
- Design Process Monitoring: Oversee the design process from conceptual phase through construction administration, ensuring consistency and proper execution.
- Technical Resolution: Provide technical resolution and coordination for a defined portion of a project.
- Team Collaboration: Foster and maintain a collaborative professional working relationship with the Project Leadership Team.
- Communication: Communicate with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure incorporation of all information into project requirements.
- Document Control: Ensure construction detail documentation conforms to quality assurance, quality control, and best practice standards.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise preparation of technical drawings by less senior level architects or technicians.
- Leadership Support: Participate in business development meetings with team leaders to target specified project, client, or market opportunities.
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.
- Proficiency in Revit required; AutoCAD preferred.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, work in a team environment, meet deadlines, and lead teams.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent education/experience required; Master's degree preferred.
- Licensed Architect with current registration in your region required; NCARB registration preferred.
- LEED credential required within 6 months of employment.
Salary: $125,000 - $135,000 per year.
