Key Responsibilities

  • Transport goods across the country, adhering to designated routes and schedules;
  • Maintain accurate records and logs, including hours of service, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance;
  • Loading and unloading freight, or assisting in this process as needed;
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues to management;
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to enhance driving skills and knowledge of industry regulations.

Requirements

  • 21 years of age or older;
  • Valid Class A CDL with necessary endorsements;
  • At least 9 months of verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle within the past 3 years;
  • Pass a Ryder background check, motor vehicle record check, and DOT physical examination;
  • Able to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures related to transportation and logistics.
