Pharmacist - Outpatient Oncology Specialist

Job Summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our Outpatient Oncology team in a hybrid per diem role. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive direct patient care to leukemia, lymphoma, and other cancer patients in our outpatient cancer centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with management of adult patients receiving care in our outpatient cancer centers receiving oral and infusion oncolytics.
  • Provide patient education, therapeutic drug monitoring, and review of chemotherapy orders.
  • Supervise sterile compounding activities and provide drug information and optimizing drug therapy.
  • Involved in the review of research protocols and oversight of research medications.

Requirements:

  • Pharm.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy in the USA.
  • Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency or equivalent practice experience.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the State of California.
  • BLS certification as outlined in the Pharmacist Responsibilities in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (C.P.R.) and Code Blue Procedure.
