Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bellstand Attendant to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles. As a key member of our Rooms & Guest Services Operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is nothing short of memorable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and escort guests to their rooms, ensuring a warm and welcoming arrival experience.
  • Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property, providing assistance with luggage and other needs as required.
  • Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, as well as local areas of interest and activities.
  • Identify and explain room features to guests, including the use of room keys, mini-bars, and in-room safes.
  • Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell areas, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Assist with luggage storage and retrieval, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including loading and unloading luggage, and provide directions as needed.
  • Arrange transportation for guests/visitors, recording advance requests as necessary.
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience necessary, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, with assistance available for heavier items.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, with regular breaks as needed.
