Clean and maintain the orderly appearance of assigned facilities by performing various duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accommodate each resident's individual needs regarding cleanliness of their room and bathroom.
  • Follow the cleaning schedule to ensure quality and thorough cleaning services.
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and sanitize floors, counters, tubs, toilets, and sinks.
  • Clean and vacuum rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
  • Dust furniture and equipment.
  • Wash walls, ceiling, and trim.
  • Wash windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Order approved cleaning supplies.
  • Make beds and keep utility and storage rooms clean and orderly.
  • Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies.
  • Report maintenance issues or needed repairs to the ICF/Residential & Day Services Director and ICF Program Coordinator.
  • Inform the ICF Program Coordinator of any complaints, incidents, or issues involving ICF resident care, staff relations, or quality of service.
  • Participate in ICF Program and/or ROI meetings as requested.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the ICF/Residential & Day Services Director and ICF Program Coordinator.
