Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room Recovery department at Frye Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
- Document patient care given and monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
- Current state RN license
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire
- One year of experience preferred
- ASLS certification preferred
