About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families during this critical time.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • Assist with deliveries and provide postpartum care to new mothers.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year of Nursing experience.
