CT Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida JFK Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scan equipment to produce high-quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other imaging staff as needed to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Work within the CT Tech scope of practice according to policy and procedures.
  • Follow all general infection control measures and those specific to the CT scan department.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and immediately after completing each case.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
