The Center For Discovery is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead our Residential Eating Disorders program. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing direction and supervision to our clinical staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our clients, and driving program growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to our treatment team, ensuring that best practices are followed and that our clients receive the best possible care.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance program outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with our Regional and Executive teams to ensure the healthy functioning of the program and the clinical treatment of our clients.
- Recruit, train, and develop our clinical staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional care.
- Monitor and assess staff morale and build team spirit and continuity, intervening and addressing any staff-related issues that arise.
- Participate in the interview process to determine the appropriateness and qualifications of prospective staff members.
- Provide bi-monthly in-service trainings to our professional and counseling treatment staff, focusing on areas such as diagnosis and assessment, group therapy, milieu management, and communication skills.
- Evaluate and apprise each member of the professional staff, completing written narratives that identify strengths, weaknesses, and goals for the coming year.
- Complete utilization reviews, oversee primary therapist process of utilization review, and assist in ensuring that all client stays are covered.
- Ensure adherence to health code policies, JACHO, and licensing regulations, providing oversight of any audits as necessary.
- Work with staff and facility manager to arrange coverage of all shifts, ensuring adequate staffing is provided and adjusting staffing to match census when necessary.
- Maintain a client caseload as appropriate to census, assigning client cases based on match with each therapist, and providing individualized and family therapies as needed.
- Co-lead process groups and/or any additional clinically-oriented groups as needed.
- Conduct facility tours for professionals in the community or families as necessary.
- Provide on-call support in conjunction with clinical staff and provide ultimate oversight when necessary.
