About the Role
Hartford Healthcare (HHC) is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality patient care in an inpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the care of inpatients under the supervision of a physician
- Admit and round on inpatients as part of the healthcare team
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Develop and implement patient care plans in conjunction with the practice physician
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
- Masters in Nursing or graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current PA license
- Current CT Controlled Substance Registry
- Current DEA
- Minimum of two years of experience as a PA
Preferred Qualifications
- Critical-thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills
