Job Description

Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

Job Summary:

Discovery Isle Preschool is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our students. You will implement our proprietary curriculum, which is literacy-based and structured, but also purposefully flexible. You will have the professional freedom to ensure instructional decisions are based on student's interests and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate classroom operations, including the implementation of our proprietary curriculum.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs and interests of our students.
  • Collaborate with fellow staff members, school administration, families, and the community to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Comply with all company and state-specific standards and maintain validation of required credentials for the position.
  • Comply with all state-specific education requirements.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED and some experience with children.
  • 12 Units in Early Childhood Education.
