Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Programmer to join our team at SSC - Sarasota. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Software Development: Develop, modify, and maintain assigned programs, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
  2. System Analysis: Analyze user requirements and needs for new software, performing analysis, design, implementation, installation, and training related to new software developed and/or acquired.
  3. System Planning: Plan systems based on consultations with SSC - Sarasota management and/or staff, documenting system plans and establishing implementation schedules.
  4. Database Development: Develop databases, programs, and procedures necessary to integrate and/or implement systems, testing them thoroughly to determine operational reliability.
  5. Technical Support: Provide technical advice and support to users, including creating ad-hoc reports, data analysis, correction, training, and problem-solving.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years IT/IS programming experience required, Healthcare experience is preferred.
