Westminster Communities of Florida is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement care plans and provide therapy services to residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement care plans designed by Physical Therapists to promote resident independence and well-being.
- Assist Physical Therapists during therapy sessions and monitor resident progress.
- Document resident activities, progress, and billing information in our system.
- Perform resident home assessments as part of the discharge process as directed by Physical Therapists.
- Screen residents during the admission process and quarterly/annual screenings to determine the need for therapy as directed by Physical Therapists.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
