As a Delivery Driver with Graybar, you will have direct face-to-face interaction with customers as you deliver orders. Your primary responsibility will be safely driving a Graybar truck or van from the warehouse to each destination, ensuring timely delivery and providing excellent customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver products to Graybar customers while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Safely operate a vehicle at all times, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Assist in determining the most efficient routes for delivery to meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate truck logs and inspect vehicle and supplies regularly.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with customers.
  • Ability to perform the physical demands of the job, including passing pre-employment physical testing.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment and proper use of PPE.
  • Experience driving a van or truck equal to or below 26,000 GVW.
  • Valid driver's license issued by the state of residence appropriate for the type of vehicle.
  • Pass DOT medical exam and Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification.
