Position Overview:


As a mobile fixture merchandiser, you will engage in project-based assignments to construct and set up displays and merchandising units, ensuring that products are presented attractively to draw in and engage customers. Your role will involve fostering strong partnerships with store management, ensuring optimal stock levels at competitive prices.

In these dynamic times, this role is essential. Our headquarters is located in Tampa, FL, yet we recruit retail merchandisers nationwide.

Our mobile fixture merchandisers perform tasks similar to those of our merchandising team. Check out our informational video.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Execute department resets, store remodels, and new store installations, adhering to specific fixture assembly requirements.

2. Construct gondolas, H Frame warehouse racking, and various specialty fixtures on the sales floor and/or in the backroom warehouse.

3. Perform complex merchandising tasks, including stock placement according to planograms, resetting metal shelving, and setting up end caps as per planogram specifications.

4. Interpret and follow installation documentation, including guides and manuals such as planograms and fixture layout documents.

5. Maintain retailer-specific online certifications.


6. Safely operate fixture installation tools, including but not limited to: cordless drills, hammer drills, tape measures, levels, various screwdriver types, and rubber mallets.

7. Read and interpret store blueprints and plans.

8. Utilize construction knowledge to determine optimal installation methods, work procedures, and material/tool requirements.

9. Arrive punctually and adhere to scheduled hours, which may include both overnight and daytime shifts, with shift lengths ranging from 8 to 10+ hours depending on project needs.

10. Adapt to changing work schedules.

Qualifications:
1. Must possess reliable transportation to travel to various locations within a designated area or region for assignments lasting from 1 to 6 weeks.

2. Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management (strong communication skills lead to more opportunities).

3. Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.

4. Ability to read diagrams or instructions, process information, and utilize personal hand tools or power tools as needed.

5. Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

6. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Benefits:
1. Paid training.

2. Compensation for mileage, travel expenses, and hotel accommodations with per diem for traveling assignments when applicable.

3. Flexible assignments ranging from 0-40 hours per week based on workload, travel willingness, and acceptance of additional projects.

4. Weekly pay.

5. W2 Employment.

Compensation:

Hourly Rate:
$15-$16 per hour.
